SMS Terms & Opt-In Disclosure

Doral Academy of Colorado operates an opt-in SMS (text message) program for parents and guardians associated with our schools. This page describes the program, the kinds of messages you can expect to receive, and how to manage your preferences.
Program description
By opting in to text messages from Doral Academy of Colorado, you agree to receive informational SMS messages— notifications, reminders, and updates related to your child's enrollment. These are the kinds of messages you can expect:
- Lottery results and waitlist position updates
- Seat offer notifications and acceptance deadlines
- Registration packet reminders and missing-document alerts
- Re-enrollment windows and important school deadlines
- Account security notifications (password resets, login verifications)
Doral Academy of Colorado does not send promotional or marketing texts.The SMS program is used solely to keep you informed about your child's application and enrollment status.
How to opt in
You may opt in to receive SMS messages by:
- Providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box during account creation or application submission in the parent portal;
- Updating your communication preferences in your account profile to enable SMS; or
- Providing express written or verbal consent to a Doral Academy of Colorado enrollment representative.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of enrollment, application, or any other service.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on the status of your application and school events. Most users receive fewer than 10 messages per month; during peak enrollment periods (lottery runs, registration windows, re-enrollment), frequency may be higher.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Charges for SMS messages are determined by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility. Doral Academy of Colorado does not charge a fee for sending or receiving SMS messages through this program.
How to opt out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive SMS messages from Doral Academy of Colorado after that confirmation.
To rejoin, sign up again the same way you originally opted in, or reply START to a previous message from us.

Supported carriers
Our SMS messages are supported on all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Doral Academy of Colorado respects your privacy. We use the information you provide solely to deliver the messages described above and will not sell or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Eligibility
To opt in to the Doral Academy of Colorado SMS program, you must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of the mobile number provided, or have authorization from the account holder to enroll the number.
Changes to these terms
Doral Academy of Coloradomay update these SMS terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued participation in the SMS program after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
